Classification by function and usage
- Twist locks: Common types include fixed type and lifting type. The fixed type is directly welded to the vehicle body, and the lock head can only rotate; the lifting type is fixed to the vehicle body through a bracket, and the lock head can rotate and telescope longitudinally. When not in use, it can be lowered below the load-bearing surface, which is suitable for different types of boxes.
- Twist locks: such as dovetail twist locks, which are usually made of high-strength steel. Insert it into the dovetail groove at the bottom of the container and rotate it to lock it, which can prevent the container from shifting or falling off during transportation.
- Intermediate twist locks: used to connect and fix accessories between adjacent containers. It is simple to operate and can effectively lock two containers.
- F-TR safety lock: The lock head is a unique eagle head structure with four faces acting on the corner fittings of the container. There are two types: push-pull flip type and push-pull translation type. It is made of high-strength alloy steel and can adapt to containers of different sizes.
